MercyOne Iowa Heart Is Seeking a BE / BC Cardiothoracic Surgeon to Join Busy Established Practice in Des Moines Iowa

MercyOne Iowa Heart is seeking a BE / BC Cardiothoracic surgeon to join a busy established practice. The ideal candidate will have proven excellent technical and interpersonal skills. Training or exposure to TAVR, ECMO, and wire skills are desirable. We offer a 3-year income guarantee with a first-year salary of $800,000, $825,000 year two, and $850,000 year three. This offer includes a $75,000 sign on bonus, paid malpractice, and a 403B match.

Surgical case volume over 1000 cases annually

Opportunity to support and grow LVAD (Joint Commission Accreditation for Ventricular Assist Device)

Pioneer in beating heart surgery and robotic heart surgery, minimally invasive valve surgery, ECMO, VAD, TAVR and TEVAR

Block time, 4 CV OR Rooms, 1 hybrid room, Da Vinci Xi / Si

APP 1st Call with Inpatient Rounding & Clinic Support

CSICU 24 / 7 Intensivist Support

Specializing in Cardiovascular Surgery, Vascular Surgery, Advanced Heart Failure, Interventional Cardiology, Electrophysiology, and General Cardiology.
