SUMMARY : The Truck Driver will be responsible for the safe, efficient, and timely delivery of the product to customers accomplished through thorough planning, ensuring completion of their duties, and ensuring that drivers take safety precautions in completing their assignments and performing related tasks.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Safe operation of the truck to deliver goods to the customer's place of business and bring return loads to TR Toppers.
• Assure that goods are transported and delivered per TR Toppers and industry requirements.
• Manage bills of lading and other paperwork as required at shipping and receiving locations.
• Occasionally break down and restack pallets.
• Use an electronic log, collect receipts, etc., while on the road.
• Interact with customers in a highly professional and positive manner.
• Clean the inside of the truck and perform routine maintenance checks on the truck.
• Ensure injury or accident is reported immediately.
• Represents TR Toppers Inc. in a professional and dignified manner at all times
• Performs other duties assigned or required.

Requirements

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS :

COMPENSATION PACKAGE :

LANGUAGE SKILLS : Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and DOT regulations, maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS : Ability to work with basic mathematical concepts such as add, substrate, multiple, and divide.

REASONING ABILITY : Must demonstrate good problem-solving skills.

OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES : Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS : While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear.

The employee must regularly lift and move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and depth perception.

WORK ENVIRONMENT : While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts, hot / cold weather conditions, and loud to moderate noise.
