Schedule : Regular business hours, with evenings as needed to support the needs of the program.

Program :
SBCS' Outpatient Clinic program offers a comprehensive array of outpatient therapeutic services for children and adolescents. Services include (1) individual therapy, (2) family therapy, (3) crisis intervention, (4) case management, (5) group therapy and (6) linkage to additional SBCS and community resources.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
Under the supervision of the Department Director, the Program Director shall be responsible for providing services and ensuring that their team provides trauma-informed services to SBCS' clients both in the schools and the community. Services will be consistent with agency goals, objectives, mission and style. The Program Director is responsible for facilitating the development and implementation of team goals and objectives and will ensure that the goals and objectives are met. The Program Director's role is to provide guidance and support to team members and to serve as a link to other teams and to the Department Director. The Program Director is responsible for staff development and evaluations in conjunction with the Department Director. The Program Director facilitates team and individual problem solving and recognizes achievements. The Program Director performs the role and duties of a supervisor for the team.
DUTIES :
- Responsible for the overall management of the San Ysidro School Based Outpatient program including program development, goal & daily operations planning, implementation, and evaluation.
- Responsible for hiring, training, supervising, developing, motivating and evaluating staff and student interns performing program services.
- Maintain effective communication with student interns and immediate team members.
- Responsible for working with program staff to develop a strategic plan, program goals and objectives.
- Develop and manage program budget and expenses.
- Prepare reports and maintain statistical data and other vital information.
- Conduct team meetings, in-service training, and individual supervision meetings with staff.
- Ensure program staff, student interns, and subcontractors are adhering to contractual requirements.
- Ensure annual program goals and objectives, including billing and productivity standards, are met.
- Prepare and review required reports and monitor staff's monthly statistics.
- Oversee the accuracy of the program's electronic health records (EHR) and billing system.
- Review staff and student intern, client case files and EHR.
- Oversight of clinicians, including billing, productivity, quality of services, and invoices.
- Plan and facilitate program outreach and build & maintain strong collaborative relationships and trust with the San Ysidro School District, including individual school sites.
- Provide crisis intervention services to clients and clinical guidance to staff when necessary.
- Participate in County and collaborative meetings as required and requested.
- Communicate regularly with agency clinical supervisors to ensure quality services are provided.
- Coordinate services with other SBCS Program Directors, school districts, and community partners to ensure effective collaboration and systems integration.
- Attend all agency required trainings and leadership team, agency, department, staff, and assigned committee meetings.
- Participate in agency special events and activities.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Master's degree with current BBS registration as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Licensed Clinical Social Worker or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor, plus 2 years post licensure experience required.
- Minimum of two years professional experience in managing and overseeing a program within the mental health services field.
- Possess initiative, ability to set goals, and prioritize while being highly organized.
- Ability to work independently and effectively problem-solve.
- Ability to network, develop, navigate and maintain strong partner relationships.
