Responsibilities
Join the Barrow Neurological Institute’s Clinical Research Organization as an ALS Research Outreach Coordinator and be part of the groundbreaking NIH-funded ALL ALS research consortium an initiative designed to expedite ALS research collaborations worldwide. In this role you will work with a dynamic and experienced team of project managers investigators patient navigators and marketing professionals to provide essential clinical outreach support to participating sites within the consortium. Your primary responsibility will be to collaborate directly with clinical sites to develop tailored recruitment and outreach plans optimizing enrollment strategies for both onsite and remote rural research participants. You will travel to a select number of site's on an annual basis and work closely with each site's multidisciplinary clinic and research teams to identify and engage in local research opportunities such as ALS walks community health fairs and clinic open houses. Additionally you will leverage social media content to promote available research opportunities within the ALS community. The position also involves working alongside the ALS Outreach Project Manager to build strong relationships with national community organizations and identify ways to enhance diversity equity and inclusion within the ALS research landscape. This role offers exciting challenges and the opportunity to collaborate with research sites across the . helping to improve access to ALS research. Qualifications
