Job Summary
This position will provide operational support duties in the Financial Aid office including data entry, word processing, sorting mail, document filing, and scanning. Will assist students at outreach events and in the office by answering general financial aid and scholarship questions and following up with students in person, via telephone, email, and / or Chat. May also assist with other duties as assigned.
Additional Requirements
- Federal Work Study (FWS) is a need-based, federally funded program.
- FWS requires the completion of a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), and confirmation of federal work study eligibility as determined by your financial aid office.
- FWS does not directly pay for tuition, and funds are only available to eligible students attending a minimum of six (6) degree applicable hours at PVCC in a federal student aid eligible program.
- The FWS award amount is based on your FAFSA results and your college funding availability, which will determine the number of hours available to work while supporting your academic goals. You can read more detailed information on the Department of Education's Federal Work-Study Program website.
