The Outside Sales Representative will be responsible for the development of business within our Office Pride market. This individual will target specific customer groups and contribute to the expansion of the Office Pride brand. Additionally, the sales representative will provide ongoing support to customers once business is obtained.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
Develops account strategies and territory planning
Develops and increases sales revenue to meet assigned budget numbers
Becomes actively involved in sales orientation and sales training programs for personal knowledge development
Acts as a resource to customers in contract opportunities and proposals
Develops marketing plans and closes sales for target accounts
Attends all company sales meetings and contributes to agenda and discussion
Keeps informed of new products, services and other general information of interest to customers
Monitors competitive activity and develops new methods of customer retention
Plan and executes product demonstrations at customer sites to generate sales
Works collaboratively with inside team (customer service and purchasing) to improve the customer experience
Maintains and manages customer pricing and contracts to ensure accuracy and margin control
Minimum Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Develops and maintains business for the region
Plans and manages the sales efforts in the region and reports results to the Director of Operations
Recommends sales strategies for improvement based on market research and competitor analyses
Monitors market trends in the region and advise management of changes
Makes regular sales calls on existing and potential accounts as directed by Operations Manager
Develops new business opportunities with new clients and existing clients and attend to all key accounts personally to ensure satisfaction.
Job Type : Full-time Base $28,000 plus Commission
Experience :
Outside Sales : 2 years (Preferred)
Janitorial and Sanitation Supply : 2 years (Preferred)
