• Modality Mix: 42% CT, 40% CR, 5% US
• Volume Expectation: 85 RVU per shift
• Start Date: May 1, 2026
• Employment Type: Locum Tenens, Per Diem, on-site (not teleradiology)

Qualifications / Job Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible Diagnostic Radiologist (within 5 years of eligibility)
• Minimum 1 year of clinical radiology experience; prior acute care or trauma center experience preferred
• Comfortable managing high-volume acute care cases similar to a Level 1 trauma center
• Proficiency with CT, CR (computed radiography), and ultrasound interpretation
• Familiarity with Intelerad and McKesson (PACS/RIS) preferred
• Excellent communication skills for collaboration with emergency medicine, surgery, and inpatient teams

Key Responsibilities

• Interpret and provide timely, accurate reports for CT, CR, and ultrasound studies during overnight shifts
• Perform emergent and acute reads for trauma and high-acuity patients — maintain performance under high-volume conditions
• Document findings clearly and promptly in the radiology information system
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across Mercy Health facilities to support patient care
• Meet departmental productivity expectations (85 RVU per shift) while maintaining quality and safety standards
