Overview

Purpose Statement / Position Summary : The Clinical Social Worker provides social work evaluation and treatment services to patients and families with complex psychosocial needs independently or with supervision as needed. Takes a leadership role in coordinating services with the interdisciplinary team and community agencies to ensure appropriate patient cares. In this role you will provide support in the Emergency Department and inpatient setting. Familiarity and comfort with fast paced, high acuity and psychosocial complexity is preferred.

Minimum Qualifications / Work Experience : 1+ years' experience as a social worker in a medical setting working with children, youth, and families.

Education / Licensure / Certification : Master's degree in social work from a school accredited by the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE) or equivalent accreditation. License as a Clinical Social Worker in California (LCSW) is preferred. Non-licensed social worker is expected to register as a Clinical Social Worker-Associate (ASW) with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) and actively pursue licensure. Application process for CCS paneling will be completed within the first 90 days of hire. Current American Heart Association BLS Healthcare Provider CPR certification.

Hours : 7 : 30pm-6am 10hr over nights shifts with variable days

Pay Scale Information

61,360.00-$105,966.00

The pay scale listed for this position is generally for candidates that meet the specified qualifications and requirements listed on this specific job description. Additional pay may be determined for those candidates that exceed these specified qualifications and requirements.
