Job description
The Repairs Coordinator would be responsible for ensuring that all open engine repair orders, repair management units are meeting deadlines. Collaborating with vendors and different departments within the organization to ensure requirements are consistently met. Day to day will consist of managing your workload between, calls, emails, quotes and anything else that arises.
The role is accountable for the following :
Building relationship with engine repair stations and communicating with them on open repair orders.
Following up on open issues, requesting status, etas, discrepancies
Reviewing and evaluating shop quotes and utilizing tools to maximize costs savings
Allocating piece parts from stock
Reviewing QC reports, repair mgmt. reports, open sales order reports, etc.
Communicate with vendors on open QC units
Meeting and maintaining set KPIs within the department
Trouble shooting problematic repairs
Expediting completion of open repair orders
Obtaining repair quotes
Required Skills and Experience
1-2 years experience in an aviation engine environment
Analytical and problem solving ability
Providing exceptional service to both vendors and customers
Individual must possess good communication skills
Self-motivated individual having a positive attitude
Ability to multi task in a fast pace environment where priorities can change quickly
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Ability to manage time effectively
