Job Description
Job Title : Registered Nurse
Job Specialty : PACU (Post Anesthesia Care Unit)
Job Duration : 13 weeks
Shift : Day 4x10-Hour (09 : 00 - 19 : 30)
Guaranteed Hours : Contracted hours guaranteed
Experience : 1 year required; first-timers not accepted
License : Valid state or compact license required
Certifications : ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS
Must-Have :
- Level II Trauma Center experience
- Proficient or expert in all areas of neurological and cardiovascular sections of PACU skills assessment
- Ability to titrate drips
- Rotational flexibility to phase II PACU for outpatient discharge
- Ability to be within 30 minutes of the hospital for on-call duties
- Two references from authority figures (Managers, Supervisor, Charge Nurse, or Director) within the last year
