Overview

Fairview Health Services is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Perianesthesia (PACU) team at University of Minnesota Medical Center West Bank Campus and Masonic Children's Hospital, located on the West Bank of the Mississippi River in Minneapolis, MN.

We are seeking a hardworking and motivated Registered Nurse to join our PACU team, which includes, nursing assistants, schedulers, instrument technicians, and MDs. The PACU RN is responsible for the assessment, planning, delivery, and evaluation of nursing care for all assigned Perianesthesia (pre- and post-op) patients. The RN is responsible for performing these responsibilities in accordance with all policy, procedure, and professional practice guidelines. The RN coordinates care with members of the health care team and delegates responsibilities to others as appropriate.

Schedule :

This PACU nursing position will be working 56 hours every two weeks on the evening shift, 8 hour shifts and rotating weekends. Off premise call is required. The position does require the ability to work D / N off-premise call shifts as assigned (staff rotation of weeknights and weekends) and meet unit requirement for call response time.
