About the Role
We’re looking for a Social Media Specialist to join our Anchorage-based team. You’ll be an integral part of the content marketing and social media department, ideating and producing high-quality content while also developing strategies that drive engagement and results across a portfolio of client brands.
This is a creative / strategic role—perfect for someone who can create eye-catching content and understands how that content fits into a broader social strategy.
What You’ll Do
- Concept, write, shoot, and edit social-first content including photo, video, and graphics across platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube Shorts, etc.)
- Collaborate with account managers, designers, and other creatives to create platform-specific content plans for client brands
- Stay ahead of trends and proactively pitch ideas that help clients stay relevant and engaging
- Capture live content at shoots and events including BTS, interviews, and social video
- Actively engage with followers and help manage community interactions (DMs, comments, etc.)
- Develop and maintain social media calendars and coordinate posting across multiple channels
- Conduct competitive audits and benchmarking to inform recommendations
- Track and report on content performance, pulling key insights to optimize future work
- Assist with procurement for shoots (talent, props, locations, etc.)
- Use insights and analytics to guide strategy and refine content execution
- Other duties as assigned
