Job Summary :
We are looking for a residential / commercial Painter to join our team! You will be painting apartments after an old tenant vacates the space.
This will be an as needed position, you will be paid hourly. Great opportunity for contractors looking for extra work during their slow seasons!!!
You are an experienced residential and / or commercial painter whos looking to be part of an energetic and effective team. You believe in a job done right and take pride in delivering a quality service to customers. A positive attitude is a must!
Responsibilities :
- Paint using a proper applicator (brush, roller, etc.) while utilizing proper painting techniques
- Interact professionally with customers, evaluating requests, pricing projects, troubleshooting issues, and describing work orders as needed
- Identify proper materials and quantities for new and existing projects
- Prepare surfaces for painting by washing, scraping, sanding, or by other means necessary
- Mix, match, and blend various paints, enamels, lacquers, varnishes, stains, and special protective coatings to achieve the desired color, consistency, and drying properties
- Use caulk, putty, cement, or plaster to repair holes and cracks
- Inspect paint jobs for quality
- Perform daily maintenance routines on painting equipment
