SUMMARY
The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for directing and managing the regional sales department. This position will create and execute operational strategies to achieve business objects to deliver customer value and drive accelerated growth by working with other managers in planning, directing, and coordinating sales strategy for the Region for all of Ranger's service lines.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provides clear direction to sales team with emphasis on improving systems, scripts, and development of team members
- Entrepreneurial spirit with high level of ownership to the growth and profitability of business by utilizing successful best practices
- Responsible for creating highly effective sales and rebuttal scripting
- Inspects, tracks, and analyzes performance metrics to make appropriate adjustments to improve ROI.
- Creates and analyzes sales department budgets to ensure projections are in line with operational goals and overall company growth strategy
- Motivate the team, track performance, and report metrics
- Monitor and evaluate industry trends and customer drivers as well as meeting regularly with management and stakeholders to discuss strategy
- Manage proposal response process, including detailed RFP requirements, content creation, and inputs from various sources
- Generate new leads, identify, and contact decision-makers, screen potential business opportunities, select the deals in line with strategies, and lead and facilitate pitch logistics
- Develop and implement overarching outbound sales and business development strategy, sales processes, structure, and best practices across the company
- Support deal structure and pricing with business value analysis; negotiate prices for proactive bids and proposals
- Maintain and share professional knowledge through education, networking, events, and presentations.
- Travel 75%
