Job descriptionInspect equipment prior to and after rentals to document hours used, mileage, fuel level and any lost and / or damages to equipment. Process rental equipment for safety decals, safety compliance, preventative maintenance and ensure equipment is Rent Ready. Demonstrate equipment for customers if needed. Assist customers with loading and unloading equipment. Complete deliveries & pickup of equipment utilizing a company truck Provide superior customer service. Maintain company safety standards, which includes a clean and orderly work area. Maintain close communication with the Inside Sales / Rental Coordinators Perform any other duties as assigned by management High school diploma or equivalent A minimum of 1-2 years’ experience working with customers Valid Driver’s License Experience operating construction equipment a plus Able to lift 75lb’s Experience and / or training in repair of mechanical equipment preferred Ability to work independently Diligent attention to work responsibly, safely, and intelligently. Have the desire to take action, improve, and be appreciative. Possess the capability to engage with customers, co-workers, and vendors in a respectful manner. A strong work ethic, reliability and a positive attitude will make you an asset to our branch and entire organization. In this role, you will perform a variety of manual tasks to ensure daily smooth RMS branch operations. As a Yard Attendant, your primary responsibilities will be to provide labor assistance to service technicians, sales staff and other branch personnel engaged in meeting the needs of our customers.
