Direct Counsel is representing an Am Law 100 firm seeking a Patent Prosecution & Litigation Technical Advisor with a background in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science. This position is open to candidates in multiple office locations across the U.S.

Ideal Candidate Profile
- B.S. in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science required
- Experience in a Law Firm required
- Prior experience in intellectual property or patent law preferred
- Familiarity with 3GPP wireless communication standards (5G/6G) is a plus, especially for experienced candidates
- Exceptional writing and communication skills
- Strong academic record and analytical abilities
- Team-oriented mindset and an eagerness to learn and contribute
- Support patent prosecution and litigation efforts related to electrical and software-based inventions
- Assist with patent drafting, research, and technical analysis
- Collaborate with attorneys and patent agents on a wide range of client matters
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends
- Technical Advisor: $80,000 - $105,000
- Patent Agent (if registered with USPTO): $99,600 - $145,800
- Salary commensurate with location, experience, and qualifications
