Job description : This Patent Associate position offers an exciting opportunity for a candidate with at least one year of legal practice experience, preferably in a law firm setting, to join a prestigious firm with a nationally recognized patent prosecution practice. The role is available in multiple locations, including Silicon Valley, San Francisco, NYC, DC, and Seattle, with a focus on life sciences.

Qualifications : Key Requirements :

Education : A PhD (or MD with research experience) in organic chemistry, medicinal chemistry, cell biology, immunology, molecular biology, microbiology, oncology, gene editing, gene therapy, or a related field.

Legal Experience : At least one year of legal practice, ideally at a law firm.

Bar Admission : Admission to the bar in the jurisdiction where the work is performed (California, Washington State, New York, or Washington D.C.) and eligibility for the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office bar.

Skills : Strong academic credentials, excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills.
