Cedar Hill Regional Medical Center – Opening in 5!

When open in early 5, Cedar Hill Regional Medical Center GW Health will be the first new full-service hospital in Washington, DC in more than years, integrating clinical care withexisting community providers, Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHC’s), The George Washington University Hospital, and our Urgent Care Center in Ward 8. This integrated delivery system will establish a robust network of care for all District residents, but more importantly, it will ensure residents of Wards 7 and 8 have access to high quality care in their community. This full-service hospital will include beds (with the ability to expand to beds), a verified trauma center, adult and pediatric emergency departments, maternal health and newborn delivery, an ambulatory pavilion for clinic visits and other outpatient services, a -car garage and a helipad for emergency transport.

We are seeking an experienced Speech Pathologist/Therapist (Full Time)

Our ideal candidate will fulfill the needs of patients, families and community by providing Speech-Language Pathology services in accordance with his/her licensure, certification, training, and regulatory requirements. Responds effectively to new and changing work assignments.

Qualifications

Requirements

  • Minimum of Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • A Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology from the American Speech-Language Hearing Association, or eligibility of certification upon completion of the Clinical Fellowship year ( months from date of hire), is necessary.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Current D.C. Speech - Language Pathologist license or eligible to obtain.
