Minimum 1+ years speech therapy experience required.
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) role is available, offering the opportunity to support students in grades PreK through 8th in a dynamic educational setting. This position involves working virtually for the majority of the time, with required in-person assessments to provide comprehensive speech and language services. The focus is on serving students with Autism, those who are nonverbal, and individuals displaying severe behavioral challenges.
Key Responsibilities :
- Deliver both push-in and push-out speech therapy services across 1-2 school sites.
- Conduct in-person assessments to accurately evaluate student needs.
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Utilize augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) strategies to enhance student communication.
- Manage case documentation and billing through SEIS and SEIS billing systems.
- Support a diverse student population requiring specialized communication interventions.
