Responsibilities

• Evaluate hearing or speech and language test results, barium swallow results, or medical or background information to plan treatment for speech, language, fluency, voice, or swallowing disorders
• Maintain proper documentation such as patient information, initial evaluation, treatment, progress, and discharge
• Demonstrates competence with clinical skills necessary to provide care appropriate to all the patient groups served by the speech-language pathology service
• Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatments accordingly
