Job Description
We are looking for a talented Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team for the school year.
Rate Range : $50.00-$70.00 per hour
Responsibilities would include :
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments to evaluate student needs.
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and therapy plans.
- Provide direct speech-language therapy in one-on-one, small group, and classroom settings.
- Address articulation, fluency, voice, expressive / receptive language, and social communication skills.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and special education teams to support student progress.
- Document therapy sessions, student progress, and assessment results in compliance with California Department of Education (CDE) and IDEA regulations.
- Participate in IEP meetings, student evaluations, and multidisciplinary team discussions.
- Train and support teachers and staff on speech-language strategies and accommodations.
- Utilize assistive communication devices (AAC) and technology for students with communication challenges.
