Position : Accounts Payable Specialist
Responsibilities :
- Process and review invoices for accuracy and compliance with company policies.
Code and enter invoices into the accounting system, ensuring correct account allocation.
Prepare and process payment runs, including checks, ACH, and wire transfers.
Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
Communicate with vendors and internal departments to resolve payment-related inquiries.
Assist with month-end closing tasks, including AP account reconciliations.
Maintain organized and up-to-date AP records and documentation.
Support the finance team with ad-hoc projects and reports as needed.
Qualifications :
Proven experience as an Accounts Payable Specialist or in a similar role.
Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and accounting principles.
Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel; experience with ERP systems is a plus.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and processing.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Education and Experience :
High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in accounting or finance is a plus.
years of relevant experience in accounts payable or a related field.
