Job description
A company is looking for a Patient Financial Advocate - Remote.
Key Responsibilities
Assist patients in coordinating necessary services and connecting them to financial resources
Determine acquisition costs and reimbursement ratios for requested therapies
Address and resolve billing, coding, and reimbursement issues with relevant departments
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
At least 3 years of experience in healthcare billing, coding, or insurance
Experience with CPT coding and ICD-10 coding is highly preferred
Familiarity with prior authorization processes and insurance reviews is preferred
Knowledge of financial sponsorship policies and procedures for patients
