Key Responsibilities :
Greet patients and visitors with a friendly, professional demeanor.
Explain services, eligibility guidelines, and sliding fee scale options.
Educate patients on deposit requirements, balances, and set up payment plans.
Collect deposits and co-payments, providing receipts and reconciling payments.
Verify demographic information and complete required paperwork.
Update annual registration paperwork and financial determination applications.
Verify insurance eligibility and collect insurance cards.
Refer uninsured patients to the Outreach & Enrollment department.
Identify and connect patients needing further case management to appropriate services.
Work collaboratively with department teams to ensure efficient front office operations.
Schedule appointments accurately and appropriately.
Qualifications :
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Strong customer service experience.
Commitment to being an effective professional team player.
Ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail.
Maintain confidentiality and privacy under all circumstances.

Benefits
All regularly scheduled employees working at least 32 hours per week are eligible to receive full benefits; those working 24-31 hours per week will receive prorated benefits. Our comprehensive benefits package includes :

Greater Seacoast Community Health is a network of community health centers providing primary care, pediatrics, dental care, prenatal care, behavioral health counseling, substance use disorder treatment, mobile health services, the WIC nutrition program, social work services, a pharmacy, parenting classes, playgroups, and home visiting.
