Position : Patient Care Assistant
We are looking for compassionate, reliable, and skilled Patient Care Assistants to join our team. This role involves providing direct patient care under the supervision of registered nurses and licensed practical nurses.
Job Types :
Full-time, Part-time, PRN (as needed)
Pay Range :
16.00 - $18.00 per hour
Key Responsibilities :
Deliver direct patient care, ensuring comfort and dignity.
Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding.
Monitor and record vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse).
Assist with patient transfers, transportation, and mobility.
Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals.
Support with medical procedures, such as wound care and catheterization.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment.
Accurately document patient information and promptly report changes in condition to the nursing staff.
Skills & Qualifications :
Previous experience in a healthcare setting (preferred).
Familiarity with basic medical terminology and procedures.
Understanding of aseptic techniques and infection control practices.
Ability to deliver compassionate, patient-centered care.
Strong communication skills to effectively engage with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
Ability to perform in various care settings, including long-term care, hospitals, and in-home environments.
