About the Role : As a Patient Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing compassionate care and support to patients in the comfort of their own homes. Join our dedicated team to enhance the quality of life for those in need.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Personal Care : Assist patients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting to promote their hygiene and comfort.
  • Household Chores : Help with light housekeeping tasks, including meal preparation, laundry, and cleaning, ensuring a safe and pleasant living environment.
  • Medication Reminders : Remind patients to take their medications as prescribed, contributing to their overall health management.
  • Vital Signs Monitoring : Regularly check and record patients' vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration.
  • Companionship : Provide emotional support and companionship to enhance patients’ mental well-being.
  • Transportation Assistance : Aid patients in getting to medical appointments and running errands when needed.

Qualifications :

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Certification as a Home Health Aide (HHA) is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Basic understanding of healthcare procedures.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • A compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care.
  • Strong ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
