- Scheduling and coordinating : They handle appointment scheduling and communicate important information to medical staff.
- Managing insurance and billing : They contact insurance companies for coverage verification, preapprovals, and handle billing issues.
- Handling administrative duties : This involves processing payments, managing paperwork, and maintaining accurate patient records.
- Being open to candidates with office and clerical background.
