Under the guidance of our Nurse Manager and the Nursing team, the Patient Safety Attendant (PSA) plays a vital role in delivering compassionate, attentive care to pediatric through geriatric patients who require close monitoring and support.
As a key member of our Internal Resource Pool, you'll have the unique opportunity to float across a variety of units-gaining valuable experience and making an impact wherever you're needed most. You'll remain at the bedside of your assigned patient, ensuring their safety and comfort, while serving as an essential link between the patient, their family, and the care team.
In this role, you will :
- Provide one-on-one observation to patients at risk, including those who are suicidal, under administrative holds, cognitively impaired, impulsive, or unsteady
- Promptly communicate changes in patient behavior or condition to nursing staff
- Document observations clearly and accurately
- Help maintain a calm, secure, and supportive environment for patients in need

Hourly Pay Rate : $15.00 - $22.13
The night shift pay differential will be paid at 18% of the employee's base rate of pay. The weekend shift pay differential will be paid at 8% of the employee's base rate of pay.
