Job description
A company is looking for a Full Time Registrar - Trauma Services (Remote).
Key Responsibilities :
Review reports and charts to apply American College of Surgeons inclusion criteria for qualifying patients
Ensure compliance with guidelines from the American College of Surgeons, NTDB, and TQIP for registry functions
Participate in inter-rater validation of abstracted patient records and meet completion guidelines for the trauma registry
Required Qualifications :
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum 2 years of related experience
Medical billing / coding knowledge required
Previous experience in trauma registry preferred
Certified Specialist in Trauma Registry or completion of American Trauma Society Trauma Registrar course preferred
