St. Augustine High School, a Catholic all-boys high school, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Registrar to join our educational team. The Registrar is responsible for maintaining accurate academic records for all students and applicants, ensuring the efficient handling of student data, and serving as a key member of the Academic Council. This role requires collaboration with various departments, including Admissions, Academics, and Counseling, as well as managing graduation-related tasks and supporting summer school.
Responsibilities :
- Maintain comprehensive files for all applicants, including student profiles, transcripts, and school recommendations.
- Coordinate with Admissions staff to obtain necessary records for applicants.
- Process course selection requests for accepted students and handle related data entry.
- Coordinate re-registration and course selection with the financial office.
- Maintain and update student academic records, including demographic data, course requests, and grade processing.
- Collaborate with the Assistant Principal of Academics to create master schedules and student rosters.
- Process deficiencies, grade reports, GPA calculations, honor roll, and academic standings.
- Prepare report cards and transcripts for students.
- Handle transcript requests for seniors, transferring students, and special programs.
- Produce and monitor work permits, and other student documentation.
- Maintain enrollment records, process student withdrawals, and oversee SEVIS for F1 students.
- Coordinate the ordering of diplomas, caps, gowns, and announcements for graduating seniors.
- Verify student names for diplomas.
- Process registrations for all students attending summer school.
- Schedule summer classes and handle the posting of grades.

While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to remain in an office at a computer workstation and access information from a computer and use a telephone. The employee is required to be mobile to, from, and within the school, as well as maneuver throughout the parish / school facility to attend meetings, briefings, and other work-related events. The employee may be required to conduct trips to, from, and within various city and county-wide locations to attend meetings or events. The employee must occasionally lift and / or move up to 15 pounds.
