Key Responsibilities Research and resolve accounts by contacting third-party payors and patients, ensuring timely account resolution Document account activities and maintain productivity and quality standards while managing a set number of accounts Assist with special projects and communicate findings to management, while attending training to enhance job knowledge Required Qualifications, Training, and Education High School diploma or equivalent; some college coursework in business administration or accounting preferred 1-4 years of medical claims and / or hospital collections experience Basic computer skills with the ability to navigate various system applications Typing speed of at least 45 words per minute Understanding of the revenue cycle process and familiarity with insurance types such as Commercial, Managed Care, Medicare, and Medicaid
