This position builds custom cabinets while maintaining safety, quality, customer, housekeeping and productivity specifications. The role works according to the specifications of the cabinet in the time frame provided to ensure satisfactory customer ship dates.
Responsibilities :
- Effectively work individually to construct assigned projects
- Examines specifications of work orders and / or blueprints to determine the materials and method to build the item
- Cut resources down to size as needed
- Apply stains, paint, laminate, and edge banding as needed
- Create standard and custom components of cabinets
- Inspects all parts of the cabinet before assembly for cleanliness and flaws
- Inspects the completed item to ensure product is to specification
- Meets deadlines with attention to detail while following quality requirements
- Maintains a clean work environment and follows housekeeping requirements
- Follows company safety policies and procedures
- Signs off schedules and manages paperwork as directed
- Works independently and as a team
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Maintains a professional manner
- Follow directions provided by Leads, Supervisors, and Management
