To act as the specialist in payroll disciplines to ensure that payroll is generated timely and accurately while providing professional customer service and assisting Payroll Leadership.

DETAILED JOB DESCRIPTION
Records, maintains, checks and balances timecards and processes salary changes through payroll for accurate calculations of employee's pay.
Compiles and calculates pay including deductions, taxes, incentive earnings, overtime, leave time, and holiday pay.
Compiles and calculates special reports involving complex calculations.
Prepares input for automated payroll system or manual records.
May complete unit / department-specific duties and expectations as outlined in department documents. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge, skills, and abilities can be acquired.
One (1) year of accounting or payroll experience.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Associate's degree in accounting, business, or a related field.
Additional license / certification requirements as determined by the hiring department.
