Hartwig Staffing is partnered with a well-established and stable company in Oklahoma City that is looking to add a Payroll Specialist to its team. Compensation for this role is $22-27 / hour DOE .
Skills you need / What you will do :
- Assists the Paryoll Manager with processing payroll accurately and on time for employees, ensuring compliance with company policies and labor laws.
- Maintain and update payroll records, including wages, deductions, and tax withholdings.
- Assist with payroll audits and resolve discrepancies in payroll data.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, taxes, and benefits-related deductions.
- Collaborate with HR and accounting teams to ensure seamless payroll processing.
- Stay up to date on payroll regulations and tax laws to ensure compliance.
- Generate payroll reports and provide data analysis as needed.
- Perform other payroll and administrative tasks as assigned.
