Position Overview
We are urgently seeking a Remote Payroll Clerk to join our team. This entry-level position is perfect for individuals looking to start their career in payroll and accounting. In this role, you will assist in processing payroll, ensuring compliance with regulations, and maintaining accurate employee records.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in processing bi-weekly payroll for employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Maintain payroll records and support compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
- Update employee information, including changes in status, pay rates, and benefits
- Prepare and distribute payroll reports as required
- Respond to payroll-related inquiries from employees and management
- Collaborate with HR to support onboarding and offboarding processes
- Assist in providing documentation for the annual audit process
