Payroll Specialist – Mesa, AZ
Salary : $55,000 - $65,000
Schedule : Monday – Friday, 8 : 00 AM – 5 : 00 PM (Onsite)
Job Overview :
We are seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist to join our team in Mesa, AZ. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of payroll experience, strong Excel skills, and a keen eye for accuracy. Experience with Kronos is a plus. This role involves processing payroll, managing garnishments, handling benefits administration, and ensuring compliance with payroll regulations.
Key Responsibilities :
Process end-to-end payroll for employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance
Manage garnishments, deductions, and benefits-related payroll functions
Maintain and update employee payroll records, ensuring accuracy in timekeeping and reporting
Utilize Excel for payroll data analysis, reporting, and reconciliation
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws
Collaborate with HR and finance teams to resolve payroll-related issues
Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, benefits, and deductions
Qualifications :
5+ years of payroll experience in a high-volume environment
Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and data analysis)
Experience with Kronos (preferred but not required)
Knowledge of garnishments, benefits administration, and payroll compliance
Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and organizational skills
Excellent communication skills and ability to handle confidential information
Pay Details : $55,000.00 to $65,000.00 per year
