System One is assisting a Tulsa client with a search for a Payroll Manager to lead the company's payroll and accounting administration efforts. This position provides leadership to a team, ensuring all payroll processes are executed accurately and efficiently, meeting or exceeding management expectations. Responsibilities : Oversee the monthly and annual accounting closing cycles, ensuring accurate recording of costs and preparing necessary reports Maintain and enhance accounting policies and procedures, implementing process improvements as needed Review and process payroll data, including managing pay rates and salary changes for all staff Ensure compliance with company policies and governmental regulations regarding payroll procedures Direct the preparation of government reports related to payroll Lead, mentor / develop, and evaluate a team of five to twenty ensuring adherence to policies and performance standards Drive communication across departments to expedite workflow and enhance overall productivity Requirements : Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or related field A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, including 5 years in a supervisory or management role Experience with ADP a must, strong proficiency in Excel and Word also required Effective communication skills, both written and verbal Strong work ethic with a positive attitude Salary : $115K - $135K Ref : 208-Eng Tulsa
