Job Summary
The Payroll Specialist is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company's payroll function, ensuring accurate and timely processing of employee pay, compliance with all relevant regulations, and providing excellent customer service to employees. This role requires strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, as well as a thorough understanding of payroll laws and regulations.
Responsibilities
- Process and manage weekly employee payroll, including salaries, bonuses, commissions, deductions, and taxes.
- Administer and maintain payroll systems in UKG Pro, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
- Run and analyze payroll reports, ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local payroll regulations.
- Administer and maintain UKG / WFM timekeeping platform, analyzing employee time and attendance data, and resolving discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate employee records, including personnel files and payroll documentation.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employees regarding payroll-related questions and concerns, providing prompt and professional responses.
- Maintain and update payroll policies to ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
- Assist with internal and external payroll audits.
- Assist with ad-hoc projects and initiatives as needed, such as system implementations, process improvements, and special payroll runs.
