Job Overview :
As a Personal Care Assistant (PCA), you will provide essential care and support to individuals with various needs, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social well-being. Your responsibilities will include assisting with daily living activities, promoting independence, and enhancing the quality of life for our clients.
Key Responsibilities :
- Provide personal care services, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting assistance.
- Assist with mobility and transportation, ensuring clients' safety and comfort.
- Help with meal preparation, feeding, and maintaining a clean and safe living environment.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive and respectful relationship.
- Monitor clients’ health and report any changes to the healthcare team.
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry, cleaning, and organizing.
- Ensure clients' medication schedules are followed (when applicable).
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any concerns to the supervisor.
