Job descriptionHillcrest Hospital Cushing is a 99-bed community-owned facility offering 24-hour emergency services, cardiology, general surgery, orthopedics, diagnostic imaging, withdrawal stabilization, wound care and urology. Responsible for planning, organizing, supervising, and rendering occupational therapy services to patients / clients of all ages who have impairments, functional limitations, disabilities, or changes in physical function and health status resulting from injury, disease, or other causes; provide prevention and wellness services, including screenings and health promotion. Communicate and document results of treatment including patients' progress toward established goals according to department's policies and procedures. The incumbent serves as a resource person for the team and the department; participates in orientation of new staff therapists, physicians and other health personnel. The occupational therapist works within practice guidelines as defined by Oklahoma state law. Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy Oklahoma Occupational Therapy license Active BLS certification
