This is a full time, 1.0 FTE position. Shifts will be scheduled Monday-Friday between the hours of 8 : 30 AM -5 : 00 PM. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department. This is a hybrid position after training is complete.

We are seeking a Financial Counselor to :
- Provide patients with estimated costs for upcoming services.
- Assist patients in understanding the billing prepayment process.
- Review patients coverage to determine overall cost for the patients specific plan of care.
At UW Health, you will have :
Education :
Minimum – High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred – Associate degree in Business, Finance, Healthcare Administration or related field.
Work Experience :
Minimum –One (1) year experience in Health Care Revenue Cycle, insurance, or financial institution
Preferred – Two (2) years’ experience in Healthcare Revenue Cycle
