About the Job
Due to a retirement, our client is looking for an experienced Senior Systems Administrator. As part of a team of Systems Administrators, you will administer and support their PeopleSoft Financials / Oracle systems including user & security group management in addition to the following :
- Develop procedures, coordinate and control object promotion / migration to appropriate instances / environments
- Maintain system performance and troubleshoot / debug technical system issues
- Assist in the development, implementation, and formalization of backup and recovery procedures which meet application levels as defined by the business
- Assist in researching, planning, and / or coordinating the design, implementation, and / or maintenance of application infrastructure, operating systems, and application software, especially when these components experience required upgrades and security patching
- Participate in long-term planning pertaining to software, information security, and applications.
