Job Information :

Position : Cook 7 Hours Per Day

Location : Rye High / Rye Elementary

Work Year : 151 Days 7 hours per day

Salary Range : $16.26- $45.28 hourly ($16.26-$25.12 hourly for external candidates based on experience and education)

FLSA Classification : Non-Exempt

Job Summary :

The overall objective is to operate a smooth and productive Nutritional Service Department which serves the students attractive and nutritious meals in an atmosphere of efficiency cleanliness and warmth.

Qualifications : Required :

High School Diploma or GED

Preferred :

AA BA Food Service Safety certification

Experience :

2 years or more experience in quantity cooking and food preparation and one year on the job training as an assistant manager / kitchen leaderunless experience and job would warrant assignment.

Condition of Employment : Applicants must be willing to participate in District No. 70 Payroll Direct Deposit Program. All hires will complete a background check.
