Overview
Employer : Republic Business Credit, a subsidiary of Renasant Bank
This position serves Republic Business Credit which is a subsidiary of Renasant Bank. The Legal Analyst will support legal, compliance and underwriting activities to ensure legal documentation is prepared and executed consistent with the Credit Policy, Governance Policy, and other company policies ("Company Guidelines"), approved underwritten terms ("Client Credit Approval", "CCA"), and approved credit amendments.
This position will primarily support the Legal, Underwriting, Client Acquisition, and Client Services teams across its suite of products, including factoring, traditional factoring, and asset-based lending.
This individual will be expected to proactively learn, engage and develop meaningful awareness of the nationwide rules and regulations in the commercial finance industry.
The Legal Analyst will represent Republic both internally and to the external marketplace with professionalism and excellent communication skills. This position is expected to :
Work closely with the Legal, Underwriting, Client Services, and Client Acquisition teams to ensure client onboarding and client management follow Company Guidelines
- Work closely with the Legal Manager, Underwriting, and Client Services teams to review and assess existing clients for compliance with policies and procedures
- Ensure legal compliance for new clients being introduced and existing clients
- Ensure applicable rules and regulations are adhered to for new and existing clients
- Be current with Republic Business Credit's operating procedures as set out in the Credit Policy, How to Guide, and other business resources
- Perform other related duties as assigned
