The Opportunity :
Avantor is looking for a dedicated and forward-thinking Product Manager to join our Biopharma organization. You will be responsible for maintaining and developing production chemicals, with a focus on supporting the growth targets of the organization. This role involves close collaboration with Product Managers and significant cross-functional interaction.
This will be a hybrid role based in South-Eastern Pennsylvania or New Jersey that will require onsite presence in Radnor, PA, Phillipsburg, NJ, Bridgewater, NJ and / or Allentown, PA locations.
What we're looking for
- Education : BS / BA in a scientific or business-related discipline; Concentrations in Biology, Biopharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering and / or Marketing preferred
- Experience : Minimum 5 years' experience in biopharma, pharma, chemical or related industry
Previous experience identifying market opportunities and determining feasibility
Statistical data analysis and knowledge of quality procedures

ENVIRONMENTAL WORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL EFFORT (Under Typical Positions)
Typically works in an office or manufacturing environment with adequate lighting and ventilation and a normal range of temperature and noise level.
Work assignments are diversified. Examples of past precedent are used to resolve work problems. New alternatives may be developed to resolve problems.
A frequent volume of work and deadlines impose strain on routine basis.
Minimal physical effort is required. Work is mostly sedentary but does require walking, standing, bending, reaching, lifting or carrying objects that typically weigh less than 10 lbs.
