The Performance Lead role is dedicated to enhancing operational performance across drilling, completion, and subsea phases. This role requires a deep understanding of the overall well project and operational objectives, expertise in LEAN methodology, particularly the PDSA cycle, and strong communication and relationship-building skills. The Performance Lead is responsible for aligning project delivery with customer expectations, supporting rigs in successful campaign delivery, and establishing close relationships with customers.
Role Importance
The Performance Lead is vital in ensuring operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and the successful delivery of drilling campaigns. Their expertise in operational improvement, customer relationship management, and leadership are crucial in enhancing our operational efficiency, ensuring safety, and securing future contracts through strong customer relationships.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as a Driller or Assistant Driller (Offshore Drilling Rig).
- In-depth knowledge of drilling processes and operational improvement strategies.
- Proficiency in LEAN methodology, especially the PDSA cycle.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for effective customer engagement and relationship building.
- Strong time management and self-organization skills.
- Advanced analytical abilities, proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Proven leadership and team-building capabilities.
- Ability to work effectively in diverse, multicultural environments.
- Relevant drilling experience and the courage to challenge the status quo.
