ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS / RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES: Provide safe and effective programming based on individual client needs.Be on time, attentive and ready to train your clients to the best of your ability. Assist members with understanding how to use the equipment safely and properly.Provide outstanding customer service to ensure a very satisfying and rewarding experienceWork in conjunction with the Fitness Director to handle inquiries, requests, etc. Maintain a safe and hazard free environment at all times.Respond to calls to assist in cases of emergency, injury or class setup/take down.Return weights and exercise equipment back to storage.Ensure cleanliness of all exercise equipment and associated workout areas.Interact efficiently and kindly with other departments.Receive and process requests as needed.Educate members on how to use all cardio and weight room machines/equipment.Personal TrainingFitness AssessmentsEquipment OrientationsQuestionsAre you currently certified by a nationally accredited organization?How many years of training experience do you have?What areas do you specialize or feel most comfortable training?Do you have a current CPR/AED and First Aid Certification?WORKING CONDITIONS / LOCATION: Scottsdale, ArizonaSCHEDULE: As needed and required by the position.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS / DEMANDS: Standing, walking, repetitive motions, bending, stretching, lifting objects over 40lbs.EDUCATION / SPECIALIZED TRAINING: Certified Trainer Certification as well as CPR and First Aid certificationSAFETY: MUST PRACTICE AND PROMOTE SAFETY AT ALL TIMES
