We are currently looking for an HRIS Specialist with UKG administration experience to join us at our San Marco headquarters in Jacksonville, FL!
Qualified candidates will be talented, focused, results-driven self-starters with strong communication and organization skills, who have a passion for best practices, innovation, and problem solving.
The HRIS Specialist will act as our "in-house expert" on all things UKG. They will be a subject matter expert on the functionality and optimization of the HRIS, serving as the lead administrator to all end-users companywide. This individual will be responsible for the integrity of employee and location-related data to create and maintain effective reporting, policies, and procedures, improve the employee and manager experience, and maximize data accessibility and usage. As a key member of a collaborative human resources team, the HRIS Specialist will also provide general HR support and guidance, so foundational HR knowledge, including employment law and compliance, is essential.
Essential Functions :
- Manage and administer all employee, location, and organizational data in the HRIS (including but not limited to UKG Pro, UKG Workforce Management and UKG People Analytics), ensuring accuracy and integrity
- Interpret data to assist in planning and developing decisions related to staffing, productivity, and training, as well as to help to solve business challenges and needs
- Provide extensive analysis, reporting, and HRIS system development to meet the needs of the Human Resources team and company as a whole
- Work closely with in-house Accounting team to ensure successful payroll processing and reporting
- Respond to, investigate, and resolve data requests and system issues
- Lead (and project manage other contributors on) new module implementations
- Create and maintain UKG workflows according to company pay policies and input termination and job / pay change transactions
- Serve as SME of UKG new release functionality, implementing and communicating updates and changes department- (and potentially company-) wide
- Utilize HR data to create internal metrics and reports, as well as responding to external agency requests
- Partner with members of HR, Finance, Operations, and Vet to ensure best practices and system optimization
- Provide technical training and respond to HRIS-related inquiries
- Develop and issue employee surveys, providing detailed result analysis
- Provide support on special projects and other duties as assigned
