We are looking for an experienced and self-motivated individual to fill the position of Stationary Engineer with our Chemical Plant located in Chicago, Illinois.

Responsibilities :

• Maintain protection of the environment and the health and safety of our employees, customers, and the communities in which we operate.
• Operate the Waste Heat Boiler and the gas fired boiler, including all related boiler equipment.
• Perform feedwater and boiler treatment, chemical analysis, etc.
• Conduct routine operating inspections, troubleshoot operational problems, and respond to emergencies.
• Monitor process operating conditions and regulate temperatures, pressures, concentration, and flow of chemicals.
• Maintain log of readings, lab results, shift production requirements, and equipment issues.
• Initiate work requests, perform minor maintenance, and prepare equipment for maintenance.
• Notify supervision, maintenance, engineering, and auxiliary personnel regarding equipment malfunctions.
