Responsibilities Staff pharmacists fill orders for parenteral and enteral medications, monitor patient drug therapies and provide drug information. Staff pharmacists supervise and direct support personnel. Also, Staff Pharmacists participate in the education of patients and staff on drug therapy, in continuous quality improvement activities, non-distributive services such as drug-level monitoring and adverse event monitoring and reporting. In the absence of the Team Leader, a staff pharmacist may be required to assume the essential responsibilities and perform the duties of the Team Leader. Qualifications Education : Requires a bachelor degree from an accredited school of Pharmacy. Licensure / Certification : Registered pharmacist with current Oklahoma licensure. BLS certification preferred. Experience : Minimum of one (1) year hospital experience preferred. Working Knowledge : Able to interpret, assess, compound and dispense all pharmaceuticals. Knowledge of appropriate drug information sources and general knowledge of word and data processing operations sufficient to perform data entry and generate appropriate reports Every team member at OHH plays an integral role in our patients' experience.
